You've been working with PHP almost longer than you can remember. If you had to really think about it, you would say around a decade - give or take a couple of years. You live in the USA, (citizen/green card holder)and enjoy working in your own office - never mind that could be from a tent while camping, or from the back of a camel while navigating Death Valley... camels? in death valley? hmmm...
Seriously, you can work from anywhere that you have a fast computer and a fast internet connection and are available a few hours a day for real-time conversations about projects.
Unobtrusive javascript? C'mon, that's the breakfast cereal you have for breakfast each morning - kids stuff! You love Javascript as much as PHP, and you are nearly as proficient with its use as you are at PHP.
You don't mind traveling to Kansas several times a year for the annual Christmas Party and other get-togethers.
You certainly don't mind traveling to Kansas to visit with 'el Presidente' prior to being hired.
You live within a day's driving distance to eastern Kansas.
You are passionate about web development and wish you could find a group of people who, like you, put in the extra 20% on a project to make it stand out in a crowd; people who utilize AJAX, modern development methods and frameworks yet pragmatic to the core - not quite "get things done" - more of a "get things done well" group of people.
You love a good Photoshop challenge (design only if you want, but there will be slicing and what not to do), and live and breathe CSS and Javascript as much as you do PHP. When asked to describe your abilities you don't know where to start.
We are a growing company with clients in many different industries - medical/healthcare, the art world, other web development companies, etc. There are 2 senior developers in our company with 10 years PHP experience each.
